The Agency regularly conducts inspections on regulated measuring instruments and goods which have been locally manufactured, packed or imported.

The Agency regularly conducts inspections on regulated measuring instruments and goods which have been locally manufactured, packed or imported. This may be done proactively or in response to consumer complaints. Checks can be conducted at retail, manufacture, importation and storage sites, or wherever sufficient packages are available.

SIGNIFICANCE OF INSPECTION

Consumer protection: ZMA regulates measuring instruments and pre-packaged goods. This benefits the consumers as they get the correct quantities of goods purchased.
